コド・モノ・コトを主宰する増田多未氏が、おとなが赤ちゃんの口に運ぶこと、赤ちゃんが自分で持って食べること、そしておとなも使えることを考えてデザインした「こどもスプーン」。
通常のスプーンより厚く丸みのある持ち手。角度を付けたことで、さらに持ちやすく見た目のバランスも良い。
すくう部分は赤ちゃんの口に合わせて小さめ。離乳食での出番を終えたら、ジャムスプーンや薬味匙に。
マットで落ち着いた質感は、輪島キリモト独自の「蒔地技法」によるもの。
朴の木を使い、下地を施した後、表面に近い部分でもう一度「輪島地の粉」を使用し、漆を塗り重ねて仕上げています。
そのため表面硬度が高まり擦れに強く傷つきにくい。

KODOMO SPOON which means A children's spoon, that is easy to use for both children and
adults.
Kodomo Spoon designed by Ms. Tami Masuda, who presides over Kodo Mono Koto,
considering that adults can carry it to the baby's mouth, the baby can eat it by himself, and
adults can also use it. A handle that is thicker and rounder than a regular spoon. By making an
angle, it is easier to hold and the appearance is well-balanced. This spoon with a small head
and firm hand grip and gentle curve is for babies. After using it as a baby food spoon, you can
use it as a jam spoon or a condiment spoon. WAJIMA KIRIMOTO's original "Makiji" technique
provides mat and chic expression. This spoon is made of natural Japanese white-bark Magnolia wood and cloth pasting is applied. Then finally a coating of Wajima jinoko (roasted, crushed,
and sifted diatomaceous earth) is added with lacquer. It cannot be damaged easily because the high surface hardness.
